A framework for your own quality work
Membership gives the institution a defined set of responsibilities and a reason to review them regularly. The six baseline requirements establish the minimum information and commitments expected of members. The broader accreditation framework can also be used internally to identify areas for development.
The evidence and improvement templates help turn that review into an organised record. Public resources remain available to non-members too; membership is not a charge for access to documents that are already openly published.
A visible and checkable commitment
After approval and activation, the institution has a public membership record with its name, recognised entity or unit, reference, status and dates. It can direct learners and partners to that record when explaining its membership.
This is a statement about membership eligibility and commitment. It does not say that the institution has passed the six-area accreditation assessment. Clear wording protects the credibility of the member’s claim and helps people understand what has actually been checked.
Participation and exchange of practice
Members are invited to contribute to standards consultations and share anonymised practical examples. An example might show how an institution clarified refund information, improved assessment moderation or shortened a learner-support response time.
The useful part is the evidence of change and the explanation of context. Contributions are reviewed before publication and require permission. Sharing practical experience helps other institutions understand what an approach achieved and where it may be useful.
Ongoing improvement, with clear limits
Each year, the institution reviews its priorities and explains what it achieved, what remains incomplete and what it will do next. Material framework changes are communicated to affected members. This provides continuity between the initial commitment and renewal.
The fee is €180 for 12 months, payable after approval. Membership does not include a full institutional accreditation review, bespoke consultancy, legal certification or guaranteed business introductions. It is optional and separate from accreditation.
