Membership process

The membership process

Know what happens at each stage, what you need to prepare and how your status is maintained.

01

Before applying

Check the membership requirements

Read M01–M06. Confirm that your legal identity, public information and basic learner terms can be verified online. Membership is available to new providers with a credible improvement plan.

02

Online application · no application fee

Provide your institutional details

Submit registry and website links, your authorised contact, public policy links and one improvement priority with an owner and target date. A short paragraph is enough. Accept the membership code and public listing terms.

03

Target 10 working days from a complete file

Complete the baseline review

We verify identity, examine your public statements and check the six membership requirements. If something is missing, we ask for specific corrections before approval.

04

Written confirmation & public listing

Confirm membership

After approval, the €180 annual fee becomes due. Your 12-month membership starts on the agreed activation date and is entered in the public register. Payment alone does not establish eligibility.

05

Annual review · no automatic renewal charge

Participate & renew

Keep your details current and report material changes within 30 days. At renewal, confirm your details and briefly explain progress on one priority. Sharing practice examples is voluntary.

Timelines are service targets, not guarantees. They pause when evidence or a response is outstanding. Complex reviews require an agreed timetable before any additional work.

Take the next step

Discuss your institution’s next step

Read the requirements, prepare your evidence and choose the route that fits your institution.
