Membership standards

Institutional membership requirements

Every requirement below must be addressed. Link each claim to current evidence that a CQASE reviewer can verify online.

A baseline review, with an annual commitment

All six requirements must be met before membership is granted. Membership checks institutional identity, public information and documented commitments. It does not establish compliance with the full accreditation framework.

M01

Institutional identity

Membership identifies the provider and the person responsible.

Requirements

  1. Provide the legal name, registration number, country, website and official registration link.
  2. Name an authorised contact responsible for the institution and its quality commitment; this can be the same person.

Evidence to provide

Registry and website links plus the contact details in the application. No separate organisation chart is needed.

How we verify it

CQASE checks the official entry against the institutional details.

M02

Clear educational information

The website accurately explains the education provided.

Requirements

  1. Describe the education, intended learners, entry requirements and delivery method on the website.
  2. Explain who issues any certificates or qualifications and their actual recognition; avoid unsupported approval or accreditation claims.

Evidence to provide

Existing course or service pages. A separate catalogue or marketing declaration is not required.

How we verify it

CQASE reads the linked pages and clarifies misleading or inconsistent claims.

M03

Learner terms & contact

Learners can find the basic terms and raise a concern.

Requirements

  1. Publish prices and cancellation or refund terms where fees are charged.
  2. Provide a support contact and a short complaints procedure stating how to submit a concern, the response time and the next contact if unresolved.

Evidence to provide

Links to existing terms and support information. These may appear on one page; complaint logs are not requested for membership.

How we verify it

CQASE checks that the relevant information is accessible and understandable.

M04

Privacy information

The institution explains data handling and provides a contact for questions.

Requirements

  1. Link to the privacy notice and identify a contact for data questions.

Evidence to provide

An existing privacy page with a contact for questions. No internal security audit or supplier register is required.

How we verify it

CQASE checks the statements for clarity and consistency; membership is not a legal compliance certification.

M05

One improvement priority

A small, practical commitment supports the next year of quality work.

Requirements

  1. Describe at least one improvement for the next 12 months, with the responsible person and target date.
  2. At renewal, briefly explain progress and the next step. An unfinished action can continue with an explanation and revised date.

Evidence to provide

A short paragraph in the application notes or shared document. A separate plan, formal report and evidence of previous results are not required to join.

How we verify it

CQASE checks that the action is specific and has an owner and date; a short update is checked at renewal.

M06

Membership acceptance

The institution accepts clear responsibilities for its membership.

Requirements

  1. Accept the membership code and public listing, keep details current and report material changes within 30 days.
  2. Describe the status as membership only while active; do not present it as accreditation. Confirm continued acceptance at renewal.

Evidence to provide

The authorised declaration in the application is sufficient. No separate signed upload or mandatory case study is required.

How we verify it

CQASE records acceptance and checks continued eligibility at renewal. Sharing practical examples is voluntary and publication requires permission.
